The Alternative Education Programs offer a unique learning environment where staff,
teachers and students work together to create an enjoyable and productive atmosphere.
It is a place to earn credits, ease some pressures and make some positive changes.

LEAP - Learning & Education Alternative Program
Opportunity to earn credits toward
a high school diploma.
All students receive an educational evaluation.
Continuous intake (including summer school).
Non-semestered.
Self-Directed Learning materials.
School hours: Mon- Fri, 8:30 am-12 pm or 12:30-4 pm

This program is funded in partnership with The Halton District School Board
and Supported by The Halton Catholic District School Board.


TEAM - Teen Education and Motherhood
Opportunity for pregnant teens or young mothers to earn credits toward a high school diploma.
Child care is available for both infants and preschoolers. (Funded by The Region of Halton).
Continuous intake (space permitting).
TEAM runs for the school year,
starting in September and finishing in June.
Self-Directed Learning materials.
School hours = Monday to Friday, 12:30 - 4:00 p.m.
Located at Burlington Family YMCA at (905)632-5000.
