Have you seen our new vivaria?
Recognize it, we dare ya!
It's an ecosystem, quickly growing
Take a moment, it's worth knowing.
Come walk through the library doors
See the waterfall as it pours
The rock-filled stream adds to the fun
No doubt, this ecosystem is number one.
You will notice the new thermometer
It goes great with the hygrometer
Tropical conditions need to be there
Including the rocks, water, soil and air.
Have you seen all the greenery
Duck potato, horsetail and papyrus tree?
All the plants take C02 in
And give back the oxygen.
Have you seen the nursing log?
It's in the vivarium with some frogs.
On this log are plants' roots
It's also a place where sit the newts.
Fire-bellied newts, that's their names,
See them swim and play games.
They hide in the narrow rocky cracks
And eat the crickets like big Macs.
Have you seen the snails yet?
They're really cool, you bet!
How about the swordtails big and small
Swimming around the waterfall?
Now you've heard all about it,
Come and see, it's exquisite!
