The weighing of the heart ceremony is done when a person has died. A heart is weighed against a feather of two truths. If the heart weighs more than the feather, it meant that you were not good in your previous life. Your heart would be fed to the Devourer, an Egyptian god. The judgement is by the god Osiris.
