What I Liked The best part I liked about Silverwing was when Shade made the owl who was chasing Shade and Marina think that there were thousands of bats not just two. If you were trying to chase two people and all of a sudden you saw thousands of people in front of you, you would look funny running everywhere trying to catch just one.
What I Felt
About the Main
Character 		My favourite character is Zepher the old bat in the church because he was mysterious, wise and also could hear different sounds. Also he could look into the future and into the past.
The Novel was suspenseful
I Chose This Word This novel is suspenseful because you don't know what's going to to happen to Shade and Marina when they fly into the city. Is Shade's father really alive? Is Shade going to find his colony?

What I Liked I liked the part when Shade and Marina caught up to Shade's colony and went looking for Shade's father. I liked this part because I found it a very good ending for this story.

About the Main
Character 		I liked Shade because even though Shade was a runt he never gave up. He tried to prove he was just as good as the others.
The Novel was suspenseful
I Chose This Word I found it suspenseful because Goth and Throb were always trying to eat Shade and Marina.

What I Liked I liked this book very much, so much in fact that I think there will be a second book. At the end Shade and Marina were going to look for Shade's father and... the book ended.

What I Liked My favourite part in the book was when Shade finds Hibernaculum and tells everyone about his journey because through the whole book I wasn't sure if he was going to make it to Hibernaculum.

About the Main
Character 		Shade was my favourite character because even though he was a runt, he still made it through the whole journey alive.
The Novel was true to life
I Chose This Word I felt it was true to life because I think that a bat could make his/her way to Hibernaculum by itself.
The Author might change No, because I felt it was the best book I have read in a while. It was very well written and nothing needed to be changed.

I Learned 		I didn't know that some bats lived in the jungle and had a 3-foot wing span and were carnivorous, even eating other bats.

What I Liked I like when Shade discovers his dad wore one of the human rings. He was very excited. He was determined that he would find the elders of the colony and find his dad.

About the Main
Character 		Shade was very clever and very determined to find his dad. He lost his temper really fast. I think that he liked his mom and most of his friends very much.
The Novel was suspenseful
I Chose This Word Every time the chapter ended the next scene would be a mystery. When the rats wanted to kill him and thought that he was a spy , Remulus saved his life I had no clue he was the other prince.
